What Is Zeolite And What Are Its Health Benefits?

What is zeolite?

Zeolite is a silicate mineral with high content of Clinoptilolite, and belongs to a large zeolite mineral group called Heulandite. These minerals have been formed millions of years ago in a result of volcanic stones and ashes that had been exposed to particularly high pressure and temperatures, and had interacted with alkaline ground water. Thanks to its essence, some people simply call the rock clinoptilolite, while other who praise its qualities a lot, call it a “Wonder Stone”.

Zeolite’s colors

Zeolite is naturally found in the following colors: white, green, pink, pale-yellow, blueish, and grey. The green one has the highest clinoptilolite content, which perhaps is the reason to be more often chosen for medical purposes.

Below you’ll see photos of green, pink, and yellowish zeolite found in its elemental state.

Clinoptilolite is a porous mineral, whose composition is mostly made from calcium, silicium (silicon), potassium, sodium, magnesium, and oxygen. Zeolite’s unique crystal structure resembles a honeycomb, which remains intact no matter the conditions of the environment. Some explorers compare it with a molecular sieve which blocks, and absorbs anti-nutrients, and dangerous constituents, while in the meantime, emanating its beneficial mineral ions.

Health benefits of zeolite

It has the ability to draw toxins and poisonous compounds out from the blood, including radio-active particles, by locking them up, and countering their noxious effect. Because zeolite isn’t soluble, after detaining the toxins, it is released from the body along with them via the excretory system. Some of the radioactive isotopes that are seized by clinoptilolite are: Strontium 90, Caesium 134, and Caesium 137. In order to consume zeolite, you only require water in which the zeolite has to remain for at least 8 hours before it takes your fresh water to the next level (further you’ll find recipes and consumption suggestions depending on the different health diseases). Please, take note that zeolite water can be drunk not just when you have a medical issue, but for prophylaxis too.

Zeolites connect with, and eliminate heavy metals such as: lead, chrome, and zinc.

The mineral interacts with, and eliminates ammonia from the human cells. Besides that, clinoptilolite reduces the body’s bad odor, including the urine and the sweat.

Clinoptilolite captures and excretes the nitrosamines form the body. Nitrosamines are cancerogenic substances that are formed during the processes of frying, canning, or smoking foods, or adding sodium nitrate to them. These harmful compounds are sometimes responsible for the sudden appearance and growth of stomach and pancreatic cancer. That’s why it is so important to reduce their influence on our health.

Zeolites eliminate the lactic acid from the muscles, and improve the muscle tonus. This means they can be a great recovery supplement for athletes.

Pure powdered clinoptilolite is a tumor inhibitor, because it has an influence on the protein kinase that activates the anti-cancer-cell genes p21 and p53.

Since zeolite has anti-cancer properties, it’s only right we can say it is a powerful antioxidant. It fights the free radicals, and supports the constitution in avoiding DNA damage.

Zeolite normalizes the alkaline-acidic balance in the body, a balance which many people don’t pay enough attention to. As we know, excessive acidity levels in the constitution is one of the main reasons for tumors. This quality of zeolite also backs the mineral’s cancer preventative character.

Zeolite is a significantly strong immune modulator. It stimulates apoptosis, a physiological process in which the immunity system induces cancerous, damaged cells and tissue to die, thus protecting the healthy cells. In regard to this there are numerous clinical studies proving the effectiveness of clinoptilolite against oncological, cardiovascular, and gastro-intestinal diseases, as well as against diabetes (even from type A).

You can use zeolite both internally and externally. In the second case, it’s best to use zeolite in the form of ointment to treat skin conditions like: seborrhea, psoriasis, acne, neurodermatitis, scurf, fungi and more.

Zeolite helps regulate the blood pressure and the blood sugar levels.

The miraculous mineral is also used for purifying the liver (suitable for cirrhosis recovery), kidneys (great for treating kidney stones), and the gall bladder.

Clinoptilolite has a positive effect on the nervous system. It has shown potential in dealing with insomnia, excessive sweating caused by nerve breakdown, and light depression.

Now you know what zeolite is, and you know about its benefits, so if you want to buy organic zeolite powder to give the mineral a try, click [HERE].

Directions for taking zeolite

Before usage, in order to be useful in its full potential, the mineral should be “activated”. The organic zeolite powder should be thermally processed in an oven at 250 degrees Celsius, for around 20 minutes. Thus, the molecular dampness is extracted from the mineral, and the pores from its interior remain empty. That’s how they are able to absorb more injurious particles. Upon this procedure, the zeolite is disinfected (from accidental bacteria), and activated. You can use the mineral without thermal processing too, only it will have a slightly lower effect.

If you want to take zeolite for prophylaxis, dissolve 1 coffee spoon of zeolite powder into a glass of water or juice in the morning before breakfast (it’s best if you drink another glass filled with only fresh water after you drink the clinoptilolite water/juice), and do the same in the evening before going to bed. Drink 2-3 liters of water during the day. This facilitates the excretion of the mineral from the body, and the crystal circulation.

For structuring the water you’re drinking daily, use small clinoptilolite rocks, instead of a powdered form. Again, do the same routine with the thermal processing. Then place around 100g of the zeolite rocks in 5 liters of spring water. Wait for 8 hours so that the mineral can release its beneficial elements, and absorb any potential anti-nutrients and particles. After the 8 hour period has passed, you can drink from this water on a daily basis as much as you please. When the water is getting short, just pour some more into the container, without changing the zeolite. This can be done for 2 months, then it’s advisable to replace the used mineral with new one.

The mineralized clinoptilolite water can be consumed by everybody, even kids, as it hasn’t been reported to have side effects. Keep in mind that after the first few days of consumption, it could act as a natural diuretic. If the person drinking it has infected gall bladder or kidneys, they may experience some aches in the respective area, but that would fade soon.

Treatment recipes with zeolite

The first 10 days, consume the same way as for prophylaxis.

The next 10 days dissolve 1 small (coffee) spoon of zeolite powder in water or juice 3 times a day.

Do a break the next 5 days.

The next 15 days add ½ tea spoon to a glass of water/juice in the morning, and 1 coffee spoon in the evening.

Again, do a 5 day break.

All of this is repeated for 5 months. After that, you have to make a longer break with duration of 2 months, after which you can start the whole cycle all over again. It’s recommended that you do a blood analysis upon the first 5 months to see if there’s any change.

1 tea spoon in a glass of water/juice half an hour before meal. This is done 3 times a day.

Again, you should drink another glass of water right after drinking the zeolite liquid, and overall 2-3 liters of water during the day.

This cycle is repeated every day for 6 months.

After such treatments, zeolite can be a great supportive means that helps alleviate the side effects, and promotes easier recovery.

The recommended daily dosage is around 12-14g of zeolite powder. It’s divided into 4 or 8 daily doses. For example, if you choose the 8 dose plan, the consumption is ought to be in every 2 hours.

Again, drink 2-3 liters water the whole day through.

The routine applies for every day of the treatment.

The harmed area is first washed with sterile physiological solution, and is dried with a sterile tampon.

If the harmed skin area is larger, you should also take a shower more often.

Dust the spot with a layer of clinoptilolite powder.

If possible, put a lint over it.

The procedure is repeated at least 2 times a day, until the pathological symptoms disappear.

The damaged area is washed with a sterile solution. If you have a deeper wound, use hydrogen peroxide. Dry the gash with a sterile tampon, and dust with a layer of clinoptilolite powder.

Put a bandage made from a two-layered or four-layered lint, and secure it with an adhesive tape, but make sure you leave the wound access to oxygen.

Put some zeolite powder around the wound too.

The procedure is done at least 2 times a day, until the damaged area is healed.

If you want to use zeolite externally – add a full tablespoon of zeolite powder to the tepid water you use for bathing. The clinoptilolite softens the water, and eases the skin hydration. After the bath, dry yourself, and carefully smear the harmed skin area with your usual prescription ointment, which you’ve mixed with 10% zeolite beforehand.

If you want to use zeolite internally – Mix ½ teaspoon of zeolite powder with a glass of fresh-pressed juice or water, half an hour prior to breakfast, 3 times a day. Again, drink a separate glass of water/juice immediately after that. Then you should drink 2-3 liters water during the day. The treatment is conducted with a duration of 30-40 days every 3 months.

Smear the clinoptilolite powder directly on the inflamed acne zone to sooth the skin problem. Cosmetic facial zeolite masks are very effective too.

Mix 100ml water with 1 teaspoon zeolite powder and lightly massage the pate and the rest of the problematic areas. You can also add zeolite powder to the ointment your doctor has prescribed you. For seborrhea, it’s recommended that you take clinoptilolite orally too.

Mix cocoa butter, zeolite powder, and extra virgin olive oil in ratio: 1:1:2 (in the same order as listed).

You should melt the cocoa butter by placing it in a sterile container, which is placed in another container filled with hot water. Afterwards, blend all 3 ingredients until you have a homogenous consistency. This concoction is applied vaginal with a tampon, right before bed.

Mix 1 teaspoon zeolite with 100ml clean water, and wash the mouth. Moreover, when you wash your teeth, you can also mix zeolite powder with your regular toothpaste.

Dredge your toothpick or paste with zeolite powder that is very finely grinded, because only the finest-milled zeolite powder can be that efficient for removing plaque when you wash your teeth.

At the first sign of herpes, apply zeolite powder cream locally, and drink zeolite water.

Mix 50ml apple cider vinegar or apple juice with 150ml clinoptilolite water. The mixture has to be drunk lightly warmed 3 times a day before meal.

Add zeolite powder to your anti-cellulite cream. It will increase the cream’s effectiveness.
