Top 5 Best Recipes With Kalettes

A true chef or culinary enthusiast is constantly looking for new foods and dishes to experiment with. If we were to give an advice on what new a person should try in their kitchen, we’d probably list kalette as one of the top choices. Some people make puzzled faces when they hear the word, and they’re like “what are kalettes“?

Kalette (plural: kalettes) is truly a unique vegetable that the British vegetable seed house Tozer Seeds was working on for more than a decade and a half. This little green is a hybrid vegetable resulting from a cross between kale and brussels sprout, taking the best of both tastes. Because they are made via traditional hybridization (rather than genetic modification), kalettes are GMO-free which is one more perk that we really take at heart. Kallettes look like little cabbage heads with greenish curly leaves and purple stripes.

Despite being small-sized, kalette is packed with stunning amounts of certain beneficial nutrients. In fact, the hybrid veggie is one of the top vitamin K sources possible, with 120% of the vitamin’s daily value being covered by only 85g of kalettes. Most people have heard that citrus fruits are some of the best vitamin C-rich foods on the planet. That may be true, but there are also other foods that offer surprisingly much of the vitamin, and as you’ve probably have guessed by now, kalette too is one of them.

The exact same serving of the vegetable provides your body with 40% of the recommended daily allowance for vitamin C. The nutritional profile of kalettes is also supported by good amounts of vitamin B6, vitamin A, calcium, and iron.

You may think that we kind of deviated from the subject here, but we wanted to make sure everybody knows what a terrific and nutritious vegetable kalette is. Now, without further ado, let’s introduce our favorite best recipes with kalettes:
