Jovial Foods is a project of the family couple Carla and Rodolfo. They both share great passion for farming, traditional agriculture and healthy food, and they were both born in families of talented home chefs. Since the couple’s daughter had severe gluten sensitivity, they decided to go beyond organic and turned their attention to making premium gluten-free foods.
Rodolfo and Carla suspected that genetically modified wheat and plants in general have contributed to the growing number of kids suffering from food allergies. So, they looked into the past and discovered the ancient grain called Einkorn, which in its essence is nature’s primal wheat, which was the original crop farmers grew thousands of years ago. Since it is very nutritious, tasty and genetically pure, it doesn’t contain gluten, and the family decided to incorporate it in their produce.
